#JoeVerasMexicanFiestaurant does what most Mexican restaurants do and give you chips and salsa, which I’m ok to skip, but since they were there I enjoyed them. They do a good salsa, that has some kick. I ordered the lunch special. Half Portion Of El Bandido served with a homemade sweet Anaheim Chile Relleno, stuffed with Monterrey Cheese, smothered with green Chile sauce, topped with Lettuce, Sour cream, and fresh Guacamole. It was really tasty and I took half of it home to eat later. Their #GreenSauce is a bit more spicy then most verde sauces, so I was happy. The special was covered in melted cheese, which really makes this cheese freak squeal with delight. I got a tasty beverage to enjoy with my meal a #RaspberryMargarita always nice to find a restaurant that serves alcohol in Utah County. It even had the requisite sign on the door saying it was a restaurant and not a bar. Lol
The food at Joe Vera’s is so yummy! I got the chicken chimichanga and it was one of the biggest ones I’ve ever had. Annette and Elyse were our servers and they were amazing, they were great at checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed.
Joe’s Vera Mexican Grill is an absolute gem! Their carne asada platter is simply delicious – perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled to perfection. Great find in Provo! Mexican food was awesome and the shrimp tacos were so flavorful and delicious! The grilled onions and peppers were prepared with careful perfection! Our waitress Julia was so thoughtful and kind. She recommended these amazing dishes!
Food was great and we were served very quickly. Way too much food for us to eat in one sitting so we had to take a lot of it home in to-to boxes.
I was a bit skeptical about this place at first. Based on wherein was and the size of the place from the outside. But I have to say I was blown away and was completely wrong about this place. It was an experience illnever forget. The food service and atmosphere were all great. Seated and served quickly with. A pleasant waitres who deserves all of the tips. And food that I was prepared to write off as fairly standard Mexican food. But I must say this is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. And I will be coming back here any chance I get. I recommend their burritos or their fish tacos. All of which were superb. A great place to come and eat. 10/10
This was our third time going to Joe Vera's and had a great time. Our food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. I got the carne asada burrito and my husband got the tres combinaciones plate. Their chips and salsa are always great. Our server, Ana, was very friendly and helpful. The ambience of the restaurant was quiet but comfortable. The bathroom was clean too.
Great little Mexican restaurant. There was no wait during lunch to get seated, but had to wait a little bit to get our food. The food was great, the service was awesome. We will definitely go back next time we are in Provo. We had their fajitas for one combination plate with burrito and enchilada and their nachos.
